The Artists In Schools program is funded by Whitehorse Council to enable local schools to employ a professional artist to work on exciting art projects within the school. Invitations are sent to all schools in September of each year with subjects selected for funding the following year.

Past projects have included felt making, ceramic and mosaic works, performance and dance, circus skills and illustrating children's books.
