The City of Whitehorse Art Collection has long been regarded as one of Australia's leading civic art collections.

There are more than 1000 works in the collection, including paintings and drawings by the Box Hill Camp artists Tom Roberts, Frederick McCubbin and Arthur Streeton. The collection also features work by leading contemporary artists such as Inge King, Jon Cattapan, Gordon Bennett and Tony Lloyd.
