Closure of Box Hill Town Hall and Artspace

Published: Monday 23 Mar 2020

As part of Whitehorse City Council's response to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we are temporarily closing Box Hill Town Hall and Artspace to the public.

Whitehorse Artspace will re-open to the public on Tuesday 2 June 2020. The gallery will not be open Saturdays until further notice.

Due to guidelines from the State Government, only 20 people will be admitted to Whitehorse Artspace at any one time. Physical distancing requirements of one person per four square metres will be applied, allowing for a minimum of 1.5 metres between visitors.

As part of our reopening considerations, we can assure our visitors that we have undertaken additional hygiene and cleaning measures.

Visit Whitehorse City Council's website for the full list of Whitehorse City Council facility closures,

Finally, while we are saddened by this closure, we appreciate your ongoing support once we re-open and value your understanding during these challenging times. The arts play an important role in our community and we look forward to welcoming you back to Artspace.
